Poultry Farms Granted 5-Year Exemption from Land Tax

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev Receives Suggestions for Livestock Development
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev recently received proposals for the development of livestock industries, with a focus on poultry farming. In collaboration with the United States, plans are underway to introduce genetic technologies in poultry farming, paving the way for the export of poultry meat.
It is worth noting that 80% of poultry genetics in the global market is dominated by a US company, hence the decision to work with them to incorporate genetic technologies and establish breeding farms.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the introduction of a cluster system in poultry farming, the creation of ready-made business projects to be handed over to entrepreneurs, and other initiatives aimed at supporting industry growth. As part of the new opportunities identified, poultry enterprises will be granted a 5-year exemption from land tax, and the export of poultry meat will be permitted. Additionally, the $35 million in affordable resources provided to entrepreneurs will have its repayment period extended by 3 years.
In order to further support the industry, the President also issued directives to expand the stock of fodder and ensure its centralized delivery to poultry farms.
These new developments are poised to significantly boost the livestock breeding sector in Uzbekistan, bringing about increased efficiency and productivity in poultry farming.
