Preliminary Election Results Released for Three Constituencies

The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan (CEC) has released preliminary results of the early elections for deputies of the Parliament in three constituencies. After processing 98.8 percent of the ballots, the following outcomes were reported.

In Nookat constituency No. 5, Bakytbek Maripov emerged as the leader with 11,523 votes (44.99 percent). He is the sibling of former Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov.

In Sverdlovsky constituency No. 29, Zhumabek Salymbekov secured the majority of votes with 10,611 votes (64.61 percent).

And in Issyk-Kul constituency No. 36, Aizhigit Tynaliev garnered the majority of votes with 3,498 votes (16.04 percent).

These seats in Parliament became vacant due to various circumstances. Shailobek Atazov (from Sverdlovsky constituency) lost his mandate, while Zhusupbek Korgonbai uulu (from Nookat) and Maksatbek Sarbagyshev (from Issyk-Kul) voluntarily resigned as deputies.
