Preparations for Paris Olympic Games Discussed in Bishkek
Bishkek – On May 25, 2024, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Edil Baisalov, chaired a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the preparation of athletes for the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games in Paris. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported that to date, 13 Kyrgyz athletes will participate in the Games, with more tickets expected to be received soon. Financial resources are being allocated according to the approved schedule.
During the meeting, current issues related to the preparation of athletes for the Olympic Games were discussed. These included matters such as accreditation, equipping of the national team, preparatory training camps, medical care, and organizational work. Edil Baisalov highlighted the importance of high-quality preparation for the upcoming Games and emphasized that the state is providing full support and assistance to the athletes.
