President Discusses Pilgrimage Conditions with Mufti Shaykh Nuriddin Kholiknazar

Approximately 12,000 Uzbek citizens are currently in Saudi Arabia for the pilgrimage, with a total of 15,130 citizens scheduled to perform the Hajj prayer. They are being accompanied by group leaders, doctors, cooks, translators, and other assistants. The Arab officials have expressed their appreciation for the attention and care provided to the Uzbek pilgrims.

A new initiative this year involves the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by religious workers and pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. So far, 1,515 letters have been read, with prayers made for the peace and prosperity of Uzbekistan.

President Mirziyoyev wished the Uzbek pilgrims a successful and safe completion of the holy Hajj prayer. He also expressed hope that upon their return, they would serve as positive examples in promoting kindness, enlightenment, education, and family harmony in Uzbek society.
