President Erdoğan to Secretary General Memiş: A warm welcome to the NSC

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan accepted the Secretary General of the National Security Council (NSC) Okay Memiş.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Okay Memiş, the Secretary General of the National Security Council (NSC), at the Presidential Complex in Ankara. During the meeting, President Erdoğan and Memiş discussed various national security issues and exchanged views on ways to enhance the country’s security measures.

Okay Memiş, who has been serving as the Secretary General of the NSC since 2021, briefed President Erdoğan on the current security threats facing the country and presented proposals for addressing them effectively.
