President Erdoğan Vows to Solve Problems Once Again – Latest News from Turkey
29 days left until the local elections in Turkey. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan continues his election campaign in Antalya, where he attended the AK Party rally held in front of Turgut Özal Sports Hall.
During his speech at the rally, President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, stating that it signifies the city’s growth. He highlighted how Antalya has become a place where not only Turkey but also the world come together, increasing the city’s brand value with events like the Diplomatic Forum.
President Erdoğan also took aim at the opposition, criticizing their lack of integrity and accusing them of choosing to align with undemocratic forces. He asserted that as the elections approach, the opposition’s nerves are beginning to show, implying that they fear being held accountable by the voters.
Responding to comments made by Republican People’s Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel about the lack of alliance with the DEM Party, Erdoğan accused the CHP of engaging in secret alliances and then denying them. He characterized the opposition’s statements as lies and blasted them for their dishonesty.
Shifting the focus to the economy, President Erdoğan touted the progress made in resolving economic issues and highlighted Turkey’s growth in various sectors including employment, exports, and tourism. He emphasized the country’s economic achievements, pointing out the growth figures and increases in national income per capita.
Following the rally, President Erdoğan inaugurated the Antalya City Hospital and spoke about the high-quality health services that will be provided to the residents of Antalya. He underscored the importance of the connection road to the hospital, which will ensure easy transportation for patients and visitors.
In his remarks at the hospital opening, President Erdoğan reflected on the improvements in healthcare since his party came to power, mentioning the transformation from outdated healthcare systems to modern city hospitals that offer comprehensive diagnosis and treatment services under one roof. He acknowledged that there may be some shortcomings in the system but assured the public that any issues would be addressed promptly.
As the local elections in Antalya draw near, President Erdoğan urged the residents to consider the progress made under his leadership and to make an informed decision on March 31. He dismissed the opposition’s claims and pledged to continue working towards a better future for Antalya and Turkey as a whole.
