
President Erdoğan’s Remarks Following Critical Meeting

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan chaired a security meeting at the Istanbul Dolmabahçe Working Office. The meeting was attended by high-level officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Internal Affairs, and Minister of National Defense. The meeting focused on evaluating counter-terrorism strategies and discussing the recent treacherous terrorist attack carried out in the Claw-Lock Operation Zone in the north of Iraq.
Following the meeting, an official statement was released, affirming Turkey’s determination to continue the fight against the terrorist organization PKK/YPG/KCK. The statement also highlighted the neutralization of 45 terrorists in operations conducted in both Iraq and Syria, emphasizing that the fight against terrorism will continue until the last terrorist is neutralized.
Furthermore, the statement addressed the increasing terrorist attacks against Turkish troops serving outside the country and reiterated Turkey’s commitment to preventing the establishment of terrorism along its southern borders. It emphasized that Turkey will not allow any terrorist threat to persist and will destroy it permanently, regardless of its origin.
