President Erdoğan’s Urgent Message to Palestine
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stands in Solidarity with the Palestinian People
On November 29th, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took to social media to express Turkey’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
In his statement, Erdoğan emphasized Turkey’s long-standing solidarity with Palestine, stating, “Turkey, with its state and nation, stands by its Palestinian brothers and sisters today, as it has throughout history.”
Furthermore, Erdoğan highlighted Turkey’s ongoing humanitarian aid efforts for the people of Gaza, stating, “Our humanitarian aid to our Gazan brothers continues. To date, we have shipped 12 planes and 1 ship full of aid material to El Arish. Our second ship carrying 1500 tons of humanitarian aid material set sail today. We will ensure the transfer of injured people, especially cancer patients and children, to Turkey.”
Additionally, Erdoğan announced plans to establish field hospitals in Gaza and to accelerate efforts to release hostages and make the ceasefire permanent.
“We are taking care of their treatment by providing them. Location determination studies are being carried out for the field hospitals we will establish in Gaza. We will accelerate our contacts to release the hostages and make the ceasefire permanent. Hopefully, our initiatives will continue in a multi-dimensional manner from now on.”
Erdoğan’s message reaffirms Turkey’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and providing essential aid during this critical time.
