President Aliyev Inaugurates Innovative Technologies Center in Shusha
On May 9th, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan opened the Innovative Technologies Center of the Shusha Electric Networks owned by “Azerishig” OJSC. During the inauguration, Chairman of the “Azerishig” Open Joint-Stock Company Vugar Ahmadov briefed the President on the works carried out.
The center is equipped with various facilities in order to improve the electric network in Shusha. These include different capacity transformers, a new 35-kilovolt substation, electric equipment, electronic-type protective relay, SCADA dispatch control systems, and an electric car charging station. In addition, the center has solar panels installed, which will help to reduce the dependency on traditional energy sources.
The opening of the Innovative Technologies Center in Shusha is a significant development for the region. It is expected to have a positive impact on the daily lives of the people living in and around Shusha, as well as boost the region’s economy.
