President Mirziyoyev Honors Uzbekistan U-17 Team for Asian Cup Triumph
The President of Uzbekistan has bestowed prestigious titles and medals upon the head coach and players of the national U-17 football team in recognition of their victory in the AFC U-17 Asian Cup. Following their triumphant performance, it has been announced that both the players and coaching staff will receive cars as gifts.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev honored the Uzbekistan U-17 national football team for their success in the AFC U-17 Asian Cup held in Saudi Arabia. In addition to the players, the commentators from the Sport TV channel who covered the match live were also recognized with the “Shuhrat” (Glory) Medal. The official decree outlining these honors was released by the president’s press service.
The decree expressed admiration for the team’s exceptional talent, professionalism, determination, and courage throughout the tournament, noting their contribution to Uzbekistan’s international reputation and inspiring pride among the youth.
The head coach, Ismailov Islambek Murodbek Ogli, was awarded the title of “Honored Coach of Uzbekistan,” while players such as Abdukarimov Miraziz, Abdullayev Faridjon, and others were presented with the “Kelajak Bunyodkori” (Builder of the Future) Medal.
Furthermore, players and coaches will be receiving cars as gestures of appreciation. The team is expected to return to Tashkent, where they will be greeted with a ceremony to commemorate their achievement. Players will be gifted Cobalt cars for their fathers, while coaches will receive Tracker vehicles, according to reports from Kun.uz sources.
