Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian Pays State Visit to Tajikistan
On January 15, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian embarked on a state visit to Tajikistan, as reported by KNIAT “Khovar”. Upon his arrival at the Dushanbe International Airport, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon greeted the distinguished guest with warmth and sincerity.
A brief conversation took place in the airport lounge, during which the leaders of both nations discussed the agenda for Masoud Pezeshkian’s inaugural visit and state visit to Tajikistan. They expressed optimism that this visit will mark the beginning of a new chapter in the longstanding relationship between the two countries, which share linguistic and cultural ties.
The state visit of Masoud Pezeshkian to Tajikistan is scheduled to take place from January 15 to 17. The itinerary includes high-level meetings and negotiations between Tajikistan and Iran, the signing of numerous cooperation agreements, and various important events encompassing business, science, and literature.
This visit is expected to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan, paving the way for enhanced bilateral relations in the future.
