President of Mongolia to Visit Uzbekistan
The President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, is scheduled to embark on a state visit to Uzbekistan from June 23 to 26. During his visit, he will engage in discussions with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and explore the city of Khiva.
The purpose of this visit is to enhance and expand the existing friendly relations and cooperation between Uzbekistan and Mongolia. Issues concerning the strengthening of political dialogue, increasing bilateral trade, and collaborating on projects in various sectors such as mining, agriculture, healthcare, and transportation will be at the forefront of the discussions.
Following the talks, a series of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements are expected to be signed. Furthermore, there are plans for the leaders of both nations to meet with representatives from prominent companies and business groups, in order to foster economic ties between the two countries.
In addition to the official meetings in Tashkent, the President of Mongolia will also have the opportunity to visit Khiva. This visit will allow him to immerse himself in the rich cultural and historical heritage of Uzbekistan and gain a deeper understanding of the country’s traditions.
