President Tatar attends opening of Prime Atlantic Hotel
President Ersin Tatar recently made a significant visit to Gambia, where he participated in the preliminary opening of the Prime Atlantic Hotel. This hotel, a Turkish-Libyan joint investment project, underwent renovations and was officially unveiled by President Tatar during his visit.
According to reports from the Presidency, the event was attended by several notable figures, including the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Banjul and the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Turkey to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah. Additionally, representatives from the Gambian government, including the Minister of Tourism, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Minister of Commerce, were present. From Libya, the Vice President, Minister of Youth and Sports, Ambassador to Banjul, President of the Libyan Africa Investment Initiative Fund, and the Mayor of Banjul also attended the opening ceremony.
The Prime Atlantic Hotel is known as the oldest hotel in Banjul, the capital of Gambia, and its renovation marks an important milestone in the Turkish-Libyan partnership in the region. President Tatar’s visit and participation in the opening ceremony signify the strengthening of ties between the involved countries and highlight the importance of international cooperation and investment in the hospitality sector.
