President Tatar Holds Meeting with AK Party Sakarya Deputy Ali İnci- BRTK
President Ersin Tatar of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus recently welcomed AK Party Sakarya Deputy, Ali İnci, and his delegation at his office. This visit was seen as an opportunity to strengthen ties between the TRNC and Turkey.
During the meeting, President Tatar expressed his gratitude for the visit and emphasized the importance of maintaining strong relations with Turkey. He highlighted the historical struggle of Turkish Cypriots in Cyprus against the Greek-Greek duo’s ambitions to connect the island to Greece. Thanks to the support of Turkey and the resistance of the Turkish Cypriots, this goal was not achieved.
President Tatar underlined the TRNC’s efforts to strengthen its ties with Turkey and the Turkish World, as well as its commitment to securing its territorial rights in the Eastern Mediterranean. He also stressed the need for continued economic strengthening efforts to enhance the TRNC’s potential.
AK Party Sakarya Deputy Ali İnci, on the other hand, expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and highlighted the importance of fostering cooperation between the two nations. He noted that contacts and collaboration between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey are crucial for mutual development.
Overall, the visit was a positive step towards enhancing relations and cooperation between the TRNC and Turkey, as well as strengthening the TRNC’s position in the region and the Turkish world.
