President Ersin Tatar Sends Get Well Soon Message for Izmir Fire Victims
President Ersin Tatar has expressed his condolences and well wishes for those affected by the recent fire in the Karşıyaka district of Izmir. The fire, which began in the forest area of Karatepe in Yamanlar Neighborhood, spread to residential and industrial areas, leading to the evacuation of three neighborhoods.
In his message, President Tatar stated, “We are deeply saddened by the fire that broke out in Izmir and the resulting evacuation of homes and businesses. While we are thankful that there were no casualties, our hearts go out to the victims and all the people of Izmir who have been affected by this tragedy.”
A total of 16 houses were destroyed, 87 houses and 45 workplaces were evacuated, and three neighborhoods were cleared as a result of the fire. President Tatar extended his condolences on behalf of himself and the Turkish Cypriot people to those impacted by the devastation.
The efforts to contain the fire are ongoing, and authorities are working diligently to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents in the affected areas. President Tatar’s message serves as a reminder of the importance of coming together in times of crisis and offering support to those in need.
