President Tokayev’s State Visit to Azerbaijan: Participation in Supreme Interstate Council Meeting

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev recently met in Baku to discuss future cooperation and participate in the Supreme Interstate Council meeting. The Akorda press service reported that during the talks, Tokayev congratulated Aliyev on his election victory and commended the efficient Kazakh-Azerbaijani cooperation.

The meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan highlighted positive developments in trade and economic relations between the two countries. Trade turnover has increased significantly since 2020, showing promising growth potential for both economies.

Tokayev expressed his satisfaction with the progress made in international cooperation and highlighted the importance of the Supreme Interstate Council in advancing bilateral relations.
