Presidential Affairs Department acquires Blonder Pub and Bulat-M Hunting Farm

Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan – The Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers recently made the decision to transfer ownership of two companies, Bulat-M LLC and Blonderbeer LLC, to the Presidential Affairs Department. This move comes after the State Property Management Agency previously owned these companies. The order, signed by Cabinet of Ministers head Akylbek Japarov on December 28, 2023, marks a significant change in ownership for both entities.
Blonderbeer LLC, which was registered in 2017, saw a change in leadership following the death of crime boss Kamchi Kolbaev, also known as Kamchybek Asanbek, during a special operation by the State Committee for National Security at the Blonder Pub in October of the previous year. Following re-registration on November 1, 2023, Bayel Beishenbekovich Kasymov was named as its director, and the State Property Management Agency became the founder.
Bulat-M LLC, a hunting farm previously associated with Kamchi Kolbaev, also underwent changes in ownership. The company, which holds licenses for hunting wild animals, had Kurmanbek Toktosunovich Temirbaev, former head of the Presidential Affairs Department of Kurmanbek Bakiyev, registered as a co-founder. The current director of the company is listed as Dastan Kurmanbekovich Temirbaev.
The shifting ownership of these companies is indicative of the changes taking place in Kyrgyzstan’s business landscape. The relationship between these companies and the State Property Management Agency raises questions about potential conflicts of interest and the implications for the country’s economic and political stability. As more information becomes available, it is essential to closely monitor these developments in order to understand the broader impact on Kyrgyzstan’s business community and governance.
