Presidential Decree Aims to Boost Employment and Income for 5.2 Million People by 2025.

A new presidential decree has been issued in order to address unemployment and poverty in 2025. This initiative will involve the utilization of 20,000 hectares of forest land to establish new forests with the help of members of low-income families. The program aims to create nurseries, cultivate medicinal plants, and provide income-generating opportunities for the population.
One of the key objectives of this program is to employ 5.2 million people and offer them opportunities for income generation. Various organizations have been assigned specific roles to ensure the successful implementation of this plan.
In the upcoming years, modern poultry farms will also be developed in regions like Namangan, Tashkent, Khorezm, and others. These farms will consist of slaughterhouses, refrigerated warehouses, processing plants, poultry breeding facilities, and production units, all operating under a cooperative system as part of pre-established business projects.
Additionally, members of low-income families will be engaged in the establishment of forests on forest land, including industrial, scenic, and fruit-bearing tree species. They will also be involved in piloting the cultivation of Broussonetia trees on a specific area of land.
Starting from July 1, 2025, individuals from low-income families who register the trees they have planted on the “Ecoactive Citizen” platform will receive a subsidy equivalent to one base calculation unit for every 100 trees planted on forest land. This program aims to not only create new opportunities for low-income families but also contribute to the overall environmental wellbeing of the country.
