
Presidents of Uzbekistan and South Korea Visit Tashkent Technopark

Yesterday, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol visited the Technopark in the city of Tashkent. During the visit, the distinguished guests were presented with a wide range of high-tech products produced at the Technopark enterprises, including technology from the South Korean company Samsung Electronics.
The industrial complex, initiated by the Uzbekistan President, consists of 16 production facilities with a total value of $365 million. This year, the logistics center within the Technopark will also begin operating. The products manufactured in this complex are produced under foreign brands and their quality is widely recognized both in domestic and international markets. In fact, these products are exported to 10 different countries due to their high demand.
Both Presidents emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between leading enterprises in Uzbekistan and South Korea. They highlighted the significance of mutual exchange of experience, transfer of advanced technologies, and innovations between the two countries. This visit further strengthens the ties between Uzbekistan and South Korea in the field of technology and innovation.
