Prime Minister Üstel Pledges Continued Support for Producers
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel recently paid a visit to the Animal Producers and Breeders Association where he met with Union President Mustafa Naimoğulları and various producers. The purpose of the visit was to exchange views and discuss issues concerning the industry.
Accompanying Üstel were Finance Minister Özdemir Berova, Agriculture and Natural Resources Minister Hüseyin Çavuş, as well as relevant department directors and technical bureaucrats. During the meeting, Mustafa Naimoğulları expressed the country’s largest union’s concerns, particularly regarding small cattle marketing and milk prices. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and dialogue in addressing these challenges for the benefit of the sector’s future.
In response, Prime Minister Üstel thanked the association for their warm reception and assured them of the government’s commitment to supporting the producing sectors. He highlighted the government’s record of providing timely payments and unprecedented support to productive sectors, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a balance between supporting producers and protecting the purchasing power of the people.
Üstel pledged to discuss potential incentives and updates that could further benefit the industry, reiterating the government’s focus on prioritizing and supporting productive sectors. The Prime Minister affirmed that dialogue and collaboration with industry stakeholders will continue to be a top priority in the government’s efforts to foster growth and development in the sector.
