Private Medical Institutions Cut Prices for CT Examinations
Bishkek, March 18, 2024 – The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) recently held meetings with large private medical institutions to discuss pricing in the market of medical services. According to the press center of the state committee, agreements have been reached with several companies to reduce prices for computed tomography (CT) examinations by up to 20 percent.
The following companies have agreed to lower prices:
– Unit-Reactiv Pharma
– Medipol
– Tomex
– Shanshui Silk Road KG
– Alpha MED Ltd
– Berdi
– Medipark
– With gold
– System Private Medical Investments and Trade
– Yurfa
– Avicenna
– Medi
– Vedanta
– Cortex neurological center – up to 30 percent.
In addition to reducing prices, SCNS is also working on regulating the prices of services provided by laboratories and medical institutions. They are also tightening control over the activities of employees of state medical institutions who are assisting in the use of services of private clinics.
This initiative is aimed at making medical services more accessible and affordable for the general public while ensuring quality and transparency in the healthcare sector.
