Prostitution Network Dismantled; Seven Arrested

Prostitution Network Busted: Seven Arrested in Major Operation
In a significant crackdown on illegal activity, local authorities have dismantled a prostitution network that exploited women in the city. The Provincial Police Department’s Public Security Branch, specifically the Moral Bureau, conducted a six-month investigation involving both technical surveillance and physical observation, ultimately identifying ten suspects linked to the operation.
The investigation revealed that members of the network were involved in forcing women into prostitution, acting as intermediaries, and supplying illegal services. Following the issuance of arrest warrants by the prosecutor’s office, police executed a coordinated operation targeting multiple locations, including massage salons, spas, and private residences.
During the operation, investigators apprehended seven suspects and rescued twelve women who were allegedly coerced into prostitution. Authorities seized substantial assets, including 64,000 pounds, 600 dollars, 300 euros, and various drug pills. Additionally, officials confiscated six vehicles, three trucks, and property valued at an astounding 63 million pounds, along with roughly 9 million pounds found in bank accounts linked to the suspects.
As the investigation unfolded, police discovered that the suspects used internet-based chat applications to negotiate and arrange prostitution services, often disguising these activities under the guise of legitimate business operations.
Currently, three of the suspects have been released under the prosecutor’s office’s directives, while the remaining seven are facing charges and were remanded into custody by the court.
This operation highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to combat human trafficking and related crimes, shedding light on the darker aspects of local society that often go unnoticed.
