Public Transport Services Enhanced for New Year Celebration in Turkmenistan
As Turkmenistan prepares to ring in the New Year, public transport services will be operating on a special schedule to ensure a high level of service for residents and visitors. From 6:00 AM on December 31, 2024, until 2:00 AM on January 1, 2025, buses will be running in various cities across the country.
The Turkmenavtoulaglary Agency has announced that bus services will be available in major cities such as Ashgabat, Arkadag, Balkanabat, Turkmenbashi, Dashoguz, Turkmenabat, and Mary. In addition to regular routes, special additional routes have been planned to accommodate the increased demand during the New Year celebration.
Passengers can expect to find buses running on routes such as Ashgabat – Gokdepe, Ashgabat – Anev, and Gokdepe – Arkadag to cater to their travel needs. Additionally, 24-hour taxi services will also be available to provide convenient transportation options for those celebrating the holiday.
