
Quality Assurance and Accreditation Training Conducted at GAU – BRTK for Higher Education

Kyrenia American University (GAU) recently held a training, education, and research center for excellence at the GAU Spectrum International Congress Center. The training focused on quality assurance and accreditation in higher education and spanned over two days.
The event featured Dr. Aytekin İşman, an external evaluator for the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) and a faculty member at Sakarya University. Dr. İşman delivered a presentation discussing the importance of quality assurance in higher education, both internally and externally. He also touched on national and international quality standards for education, research, social contribution activities, and administrative services within higher education institutions.
The training was attended not only by GAU academic staff but also by educators from various universities across the country. Participants learned about the role of accreditation in higher education, as well as various forms of practical subject practices.
On the second day of the event, Dr. İşman delved into learning outcomes and methods, providing valuable insights for the attendees. The program concluded with all participants receiving a certificate of completion.
