The volleyball matches continue in the 12th Rauf Denktaş Cup and the 1st Osman Çetintaş Cup, with intense competition and thrilling victories.
In the 12th Rauf Denktaş Cup, Famagusta Municipality Çamlıkspor and Eastern Mediterranean University will face off in the women’s final. After a captivating battle in the semi-final, Famagusta Municipality Çamlıkspor secured their spot in the final by defeating Esentepe 3-2, while Eastern Mediterranean University beat Vakıflar 3-1. The final match is set to take place on Friday, February 9, at 19:00 at Nicosia Atatürk Indoor Sports Hall.
The 1st Osman Çetintaş Cup also saw intense matches, with Famagusta Municipality claiming victory in the U16 Girls category by defeating Çamlıkspor Vakıflar 3-0 and advancing to the semi-finals. The Famagusta Sports Academy team also secured their place in the semi-finals by beating Maraş Volleyball Sports Association 3-0. In the U17 men’s match, Famagusta Municipality Çamlıkspor emerged victorious by defeating Karpaz Gate Marina 3-0 and earning a spot in the final against the Eastern Mediterranean University Team. The final matches are scheduled to be played on Monday, February 12.
