Ravshan Sultonkhudjaev Named Head of Tashkent City Police Department
Colonel Ravshan Sultonkhudjaev Appointed as Head of Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs
Colonel Ravshan Sultonkhudjaev has been appointed as the new head of the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs. This decision comes after his successful tenure as the head of the Khorezm Regional Department of Internal Affairs.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that an urgent meeting was held at the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs to address public safety and stabilize the crime situation. The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials from the Presidential Administration, Minister of Internal Affairs Major General Aziz Toshpulatov, sector leaders of the capital, and heads of law enforcement agencies.
During the meeting, an organizational issue was discussed, and by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel Ravshan Sultonkhudjaev was appointed as the head of the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs. Prior to this role, Colonel Sultonkhudjaev served as the deputy head of the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs and as the head of the Crime Prevention Department.
This appointment follows the recent promotion of Aziz Toshpulatov, who previously served as the head of the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs, to the position of Minister of Internal Affairs. Toshpulatov replaced Pulat Bobojonov, who had been the Minister of Internal Affairs since September 2017.
Colonel Ravshan Sultonkhudjaev’s extensive experience in law enforcement and his dedication to public safety make him a valuable addition to the leadership team of the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs. It is expected that under his leadership, the department will continue to work towards ensuring the safety and security of the residents of Tashkent.
