Record Delivery: Over 90,000 Tons of Coal Delivered to Bishkek HPP by Kyrgyzkomur
Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan – October 5, 2024
Kyrgyzkomur, the state enterprise in charge of coal delivery, has reported that since the beginning of August, they have delivered 90,300 tons of coal to the Bishkek Heating and Power Plant (HPP). The cost of one ton of coal is 4,915 soms.
This delivery is in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers’ resolution on preparation for the upcoming autumn-winter period, which mandates that at least 750,000 tons of domestic fuel must be delivered to the capital’s HPP.
Of this total amount, 50,000 tons will be delivered from the Tash-Kumyr field, Kyrgyzkomur will deliver 520,000 tons, and another 180,000 tons will come from the Min-Kush field.
Additionally, since October 1, a total of 95,213.5 tons of coal have been shipped for the population’s needs, and 16,187.3 tons have been delivered to budget-funded organizations.
This consistent delivery of coal ensures that the Bishkek Heating and Power Plant can meet the energy demands of the upcoming season. The efforts of Kyrgyzkomur play a crucial role in providing a stable energy supply to the residents of Bishkek and surrounding areas.
