Register New Vehicles Online with Home Service Option

The Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services has introduced a new online vehicle registration service, starting with a pilot phase at the “Fayzobod” registration office in Tashkent. This new system allows users to submit applications for registering new vehicles online, making the process more convenient and efficient.

Currently, the service is only available at the “Fayzobod” registration and examination department in Tashkent as a test phase. If successful, it will then be expanded to other regions in Uzbekistan. To access the service, applicants simply need to log into the portal, select the type of service they require, and choose between visiting the Road Safety Department office in person or requesting a mobile service.

The registration fees vary depending on the type of vehicle being registered. For a standard motor vehicle, the fee is 6.84 basic calculation units (BCU), equivalent to 2.565 million UZS. Electric vehicles, trailers, and motorcycles have a lower fee of 1.5 BCU (562,500 UZS). Issuing a license plate costs 3.5 BCU (1.3 million UZS), while obtaining a technical passport incurs a fee of 0.7 BCU (262,500 UZS).

For those who opt for the mobile service, a Road Safety Department officer will contact them in advance. The additional charge for home registration varies based on the urgency of the service needed. Within 1 day, the fee is 4 BCU (1.5 million UZS), within 3 days it is 3 BCU (1.125 million UZS), and within 5 days it is 2 BCU (750,000 UZS).

It is important to note that the base fee for home registration is applicable for destinations within 10 km of the registration office. Any additional distance will incur an extra charge of 0.05 BCU (18,750 UZS) per kilometer.

Overall, the introduction of online vehicle registration via the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services aims to streamline the registration process and provide a more convenient option for applicants in Uzbekistan.
