A man with a previous criminal record has been arrested on suspicion of drug possession in the Batken region, according to the Internal Affairs Department of Batken. The 39-year-old resident of Kyzyl-Kiya city was found to be in possession of over 178 grams of a green substance with a specific odor during a search of his home.
The substance was confirmed to be marijuana following examination. The man has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility, with reports indicating that he has two previous convictions.
