
Representatives from Turkmenistan attend regional BOMCA seminar

Representatives from Turkmenistan recently took part in a regional online seminar focused on evaluating the performance of teaching staff in educational institutions involved in border management agencies. The seminar, part of the Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia (BOMCA 10), aimed to improve participants’ skills in evaluating teaching staff performance and using the results for their personal and professional development. Special attention was given to career development planning for employees.
During the seminar, an expert from the Higher Border Institute of the Border Troops of the Republic of Tajikistan shared key approaches and methods of evaluation, along with their experiences in applying these methods to educational activities. This training session is part of a series of online trainings organized by the BOMCA program for the consortium of educational institutions of border and customs agencies in Central Asian countries, in line with the agreed training plan for the region in 2024.
The seminar provided valuable insights and knowledge for the participants from Turkmenistan, contributing to the continuous improvement of teaching staff performance evaluation and development in educational institutions involved in border management.
