Retirement Feast Bonus Payment Date Confirmed: Last Minute Holiday Bond News
Milliyet.com.tr/ÖZEL reports that 16.5 million pensioners will receive a bonus of 3-4 thousand TL in the recent hike. The Social Security Institution announced that the feast bonuses will be paid starting today, with payments initially set at 3 thousand TL. Here is the bonus payment calendar:
– Pension payment dates for those with birthdays on the 17th, 18th, or 19th of the month will receive payment on March 24.
– Those whose birthdays fall on the 20th, 21st, or 22nd will receive payment on March 25.
– Retirees with birthdays on the 23rd, 24th, 25th, or 26th will receive their feast bonus on March 26.
– Bağ-Kur pensioners will receive payment on March 27.
– Pension Fund beneficiaries will receive payments on March 28.
The legal process for the raised festive bonuses, which are now at 4 thousand TL, is still ongoing. The law proposal has passed the Assembly Plan and Budget Commission and is expected to be discussed in the General Assembly this week.
According to Social Security Consultant Emin Yılmaz, the difference in the hike bonus is expected to be deposited into accounts after the law is passed. The difference payment of a thousand TL could be reached by the end of this week, or possibly after the feast.
