
Rising Consumer Prices and Tariffs across EAEU Countries

Consumer prices and tariffs rose in EAEU countries in December 2024 compared to November, according to data from the National Statistical Committee.
Kyrgyzstan saw a 0.9 percent increase in prices, primarily due to a 1.5 percent rise in the cost of food products and soft drinks. However, the highest inflation rate of 9.5 percent was recorded in Russia, with food product prices increasing by 11.1 percent.
Inflation rates in EAEU states in annual terms were as follows:
– Armenia: 1.5 percent
– Belarus: 5.2 percent
– Kazakhstan: 8.6 percent
– Kyrgyzstan: 6.3 percent
Additionally, in the Kyrgyz Republic, there was an 8.1 percent increase in service prices and a 6.4 percent increase in food product prices.
