
Road Closures in Ankara: What You Need to Know

April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day Celebrations in Ankara to Close Roads to Vehicle Traffic
In a statement released by the Ankara Police Department, it was announced that the celebrations for April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day will be held with activities that will close certain roads to vehicle traffic.
The statement listed the roads and streets that will be closed to traffic starting from 06.00 today, in case of need. These include GMK Boulevard, Monument Street, Mediterranean Street, Marshal Fevzi Cakmak Street, Dögol Street, Sporpark Street, Talatpaşa Boulevard, Atatürk Boulevard, Ankara Train Station Junction, Kazın Karabekir Street, Istanbul Street, Anatolian Square, and many more.
Furthermore, the statement mentioned that all streets and paths connected to these roads will also be closed to vehicle traffic until the end of the programs.
