ROKETSAN to Open Joint Production Facility in Indonesia
The Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2025, sponsored by TRT and hosted by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, is currently taking place at the Nest Congress Center in the Belek Tourism region.
During the forum, ROKETSAN General Manager highlighted the importance of the event in the diplomatic field of Turkey, bringing together ministers from many countries to discuss various issues. He mentioned that the presence of defense ministers at the forum is crucial for the development of Turkey’s relations in the defense industry.
In order to enhance cooperation in the international arena and expand their reach, Roketsan aims to increase their collaborations with other countries. The General Manager shared that they had the opportunity to engage with several presidents and defense ministers during the forum.
One significant outcome of the forum was the agreement signed with an Indonesian Defense Industry Company for the production of Gemisavar missiles, cruise missiles, and various smart ammunition systems. The partnership also includes technology transfer, strengthening the local defense industry infrastructure, and training programs for Indonesian engineers and technicians.
The General Manager emphasized that Turkey’s collaborations in the defense industry go beyond just selling products. The country offers to develop technology together with friendly nations, providing mutual benefits and opportunities for improvement in capabilities.
