“The Unique Cooperation Model of the Turkic States” – Panel Begins in Antalya

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum recently hosted a panel discussion titled “Organization of Turkic States: A Unique Cooperation Model,” highlighting the significant role of the OTS in fostering collaboration within the Turkic World.

Key figures in attendance included Binali Yildirim, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States, Elchin Amirbayov, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan, Marat Karabayev, Minister of Transportation of Kazakhstan, Sodiq Safoyev, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Supreme Assembly of Uzbekistan, Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, and Asein Isaev, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the panel moderated by Cappadocia University Rector Hasan Ali Karasar, it was emphasized that the OTS has evolved into a vital cooperation platform encompassing various sectors such as trade, energy, finance, connectivity, tourism, education, and culture. The organization is committed to strengthening cooperation based on a shared identity and regional ownership, transitioning from a mere “cooperation initiative” to a recognized international organization.
