Ruslan Kazakbaev named Ambassador to Albania, North Macedonia, and Montenegro
On January 30, 2025, the Kyrgyz news agency 24.kg reported that Ruslan Kazakbaev has been appointed as the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Albania, North Macedonia, and Montenegro concurrently while residing in Ankara.
This decision was made by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, through a decree. Previously serving as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey and Israel, Kazakbaev will now also represent Kyrgyzstan in Albania, North Macedonia, and Montenegro.
The statement from the President’s office highlighted the importance of consolidating diplomatic relations with these countries and reaffirming Kyrgyzstan’s commitment to fostering strong partnerships in the region. Kazakbaev’s extensive experience in the field of diplomacy makes him a suitable candidate for this expanded role.
