Russia and Iran to Develop 20-Year Roadmap for Trade and Economic Cooperation
During the upcoming 18th meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation, Russia and Iran are set to develop a 20-year roadmap for their partnership. This was announced by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic to the Russian Federation, Kazem Jalali.
According to Jalali, specialists from both countries will be working together to find ways to enhance their relations through specialized working groups. By identifying and overcoming existing obstacles, they aim to create a roadmap that outlines their vision for future cooperation within the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement.
The meeting, scheduled to take place on April 23-25, will see the participation of Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev and Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad. Both ministers will play a key role in discussions aimed at strengthening the trade and economic ties between Russia and Iran.
