Russia is successfully meeting Kyrgyzstan’s demands for oil products, including gasoline, jet fuel, diesel fuel, and bitumen, according to a report by TASS, citing the press service of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers.

The statement highlighted the strong cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector, with Russia fulfilling the republic’s requirements for various oil products.

Efforts are also being made to ensure a continuous supply of natural gas to Kyrgyzstan, with the implementation of the General Scheme for Gas Supply and Gasification of Kyrgyzstan until 2030 program, in collaboration with Gazprom.

The Russian government emphasized the significant potential for expanding mutual trade and enhancing cooperation in finance, industry, agriculture, transport, and digital technologies.

Currently, more than 80 Russian regions are engaged in trade and economic partnerships with the Kyrgyz Republic.

It was stated that trade with Russia constitutes 20 percent of Kyrgyzstan’s foreign trade, with the Russian-Kyrgyz trade turnover seeing a 5.6 percent increase in 2023, reaching $3.6 billion.

The strong ties between Russia and Kyrgyzstan in various sectors underline the importance of their partnership and the potential for further growth in their economic and trade relations.
