Russian Ambassador Successfully Completes Diplomatic Mission in Kyrgyzstan

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Kyrgyzstan Nikolai Udovichenko on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission. The press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the upcoming national holiday – Russia Day, and expressed gratitude to him for the work done and personal contribution to the development of bilateral relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation. Jeenbek Kulubaev noted that during the period of Nikolai Udovichenko’s work as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia, relations between the two states moved to a new level of strategic partnership.

The parties discussed issues of implementation of the agreements reached at the highest and high levels, preparation for the upcoming 25th meeting of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Russian Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation and the IX Kyrgyz-Russian Interregional Conference. Both events will take place in July 2024 in Krasnoyarsk (Russia).

The Ambassador thanked the Kyrgyz side for their support in fulfilling his duties and noted that he would continue to make efforts to deepen the bilateral partnership with the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the end of the meeting, Jeenbek Kulubaev awarded Nikolai Udovichenko with an anniversary medal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan for his significant contribution to the development of Kyrgyz-Russian relations.
