Russian Manufacturer TechnoNICOL to Build Thermal Insulation Plant in Uzbekistan
TechnoNICOL, a leading Russian manufacturer of building materials, has announced plans to construct a plant in Angren, Uzbekistan. The company aims to produce thermal insulation boards at this facility, according to a statement on its website.
Scheduled to launch in early 2025, the plant is expected to require an investment of at least 1.3 billion rubles (equivalent to 160 billion soums). It will have a production capacity of approximately 300 thousand cubic meters of finished products annually.
Sergey Kolesnikov, co-founder of TechnoNICOL, emphasized the significance of the project for the construction market in Uzbekistan. He stated, “The enterprise will provide the region with modern, reliable, and high-quality materials that are in great demand.”
Established in 1992 by Sergey Kolesnikov and Igor Rybakov, TechnoNICOL has become a prominent business in the building materials industry. In 2020, it ranked 115th among Russia’s largest private companies according to Forbes. The company operates production facilities in various countries, including Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Italy, Poland, Great Britain, and Germany. Additionally, TechnoNICOL has established scientific divisions, representative offices, and training centers.
By venturing into Uzbekistan, TechnoNICOL aims to contribute to the development of the country’s construction sector. The production of thermal insulation boards will not only fulfill local demand but also enhance the efficiency and sustainability of buildings in the region.
