Kyrgyzstan’s Economy on the Rise: Historic Growth Predicted
At the recent People’s Kurultai, President Sadyr Japarov expressed confidence in Kyrgyzstan’s progress towards strengthening its statehood. He credited consistent reforms and effective management for propelling the country’s economy to demonstrate historic growth.
Key indicators highlight the rapid advancement of Kyrgyzstan’s economy:
– In 2020, the GDP stood at 639 billion soms, with expectations to reach 1.5 trillion in 2024, marking a 2.5-fold increase within a short timeframe.
– By 2025, the GDP is projected to exceed 1.8 trillion soms, signifying a tripling of the economy’s size compared to 2020.
In terms of the state budget:
– The budget in 2020 was 247 billion soms.
– By the end of 2024, it is forecasted to reach 687 billion soms, nearly three times greater than in 2020.
– Furthermore, 2025 is expected to see the budget surpass the 700 billion soms mark.
President Japarov highlighted that the country’s success is attributed to an open dialogue with society, mutual trust, and support. Kyrgyzstan’s promising economic growth and improved state budget indicate a bright future ahead for the nation.
