
Saida Mirziyoyeva Holds Meeting with Qatari Prime Minister

During the recent meeting between Saida Mirziyoyeva and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, it was emphasized that the mutual relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar have entered a new stage in 2023. The Presidential Assistant, Saida Mirziyoyeva, held discussions with the Qatari Prime Minister in Doha, where they highlighted the prospects for the development of bilateral relations and planned future events.
The discussions also touched upon the historical significance of the Samarkand summit in June 2023 and the Doha summit scheduled for October 2023, which have paved the way for new aspects of cooperation between the two countries. Saida Mirziyoyeva expressed the beginning of a completely new era in the relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar, with a focus on enhancing cultural and educational ties and implementing joint projects.
Notably, on February 24, the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art presented the exhibition project “Artisan Uzbekistan: tradition in fibers” at the Design Biennale in Doha, Qatar. Saida Mirziyoyeva actively participated in this project, signaling a strong interest in promoting cultural exchanges and collaborations between Uzbekistan and Qatar.
