
Saida Mirziyoyeva’s Inspection of Social and Economic Conditions in Karakalpakstan

Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, recently conducted a visit to the Republic of Karakalpakstan, where she inspected economically and socially distressed districts to assess the local situation.
During the visit, Mirziyoyeva observed the challenging conditions faced by the residents of these areas and emphasized the need for significant improvements to their living standards.
In a meeting held in mid-August under the guidance of the President, discussions were held regarding the socio-economic development of Karakalpakstan. Mirziyoyeva, along with Tursinkhon Khudaybergenov, the President’s Advisor on Sustainable Development of the Aral Sea Region, were assigned the responsibility of overseeing the effective implementation of directives aimed at utilizing Karakalpakstan’s potential for its overall development.
The visit highlighted the ongoing efforts to address the issues faced by economically and socially distressed districts and to create better living conditions for the residents.
