Man with Alleged Psychological Problems Falls to His Death from Balcony
In a tragic incident in the Yeşilyurt Neighborhood of the Seyhan district, Harun Akçay, reportedly suffering from psychological issues, lost his balance and fell from the balcony of his 6th-floor apartment while half-naked.
The incident was reported by employees of a restaurant located below the apartment building, prompting the dispatch of police and medical teams to the scene. Upon examination by medical personnel, it was determined that Akçay had tragically lost his life.
Akçay’s body was then taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. His wife, who spoke to the police following the incident, revealed that her husband was a schizophrenic patient who had received treatment at a mental and nervous diseases hospital in the past.
