Governor’s Office Announces Suspension of Education and Work Due to Weather Conditions in Kayseri
According to a statement released by the Governor’s Office, the Provincial Directorate of Meteorology has predicted that Kayseri will experience intense icing tomorrow, particularly during the night hours. As a precaution against potential risks, all educational and work activities have been suspended for the day.
The statement outlined the following measures:
“In light of the current weather conditions, all transportation for education, public employees, and student movement between the provincial center and districts, including official and private nurseries, kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, professional schools, women’s staff (health, security, and 24 schools), educational institutions, maturation institutes, special education courses, and special education and rehabilitation centers will be suspended on February 7, 2025. The status of personnel working on an hourly basis will be evaluated by their supervisors. Additionally, disabled, seriously ill, and pregnant public employees will be granted administrative leave.”
