School in Toguz-Toro District Engulfed in Fire
Fire breaks out at Saimaluu-Tash school in Kyrgyzstan
A fire broke out at Saimaluu-Tash school in Toguz-Toro district, Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The incident occurred and was brought under control at 10:28 p.m. with the assistance of two departments from the district fire service.
Fortunately, due to the prompt actions of the rescuers, the school canteen, which was built and commissioned in 2020, was not damaged by the fire. Local residents also aided in the efforts by helping firefighters remove books, desks, and other school furniture from the premises.
The causes of the fire are currently being investigated, and an assessment of the material damage is underway. Authorities are working to determine the root of the incident to prevent any future occurrences.
