Scrap Dealer Abduction: Woman Among 4 Suspects Caught
The kidnapping of a scrap dealer for ransom in Avcılar has shocked the local community. Sinan Ünal was taken from the warehouse where he worked by taxi drivers pretending to be police officers. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of 12 million lira from his family, which was later increased to 13 million lira by the police.
After the news of the kidnapping spread, the suspects became scared and abandoned Sinan Ünal on the side of the road in Silivri. They then fled and hid in Çerkezköy, but were eventually caught by the police. Four suspects, including one woman, were arrested in connection with the crime.
In addition to the kidnapping, weapons were also found in possession of the suspects, who had a criminal record. The incident serves as a reminder of the dangers that can arise from criminal activities and the importance of cooperation between the community and law enforcement to ensure safety and security.
