Seçil Erzan, in a recent hearing, recounted the harrowing experience of having to pay money to 10 loan sharks. She detailed how much money was taken from her and how much she gave in return. Erzan expressed, “I couldn’t find a way out that day. Even if they asked me to write a billion dollars, I would have complied. When asked, ‘Who is Seçil Erzan?’ by Semih Kaya, questioning if he would buy her a house, Erzan simply responded, ‘I am nobody.’ The situation escalated when the accountant visited her room twice, leaving with sacks of money. She was persuaded by claims that she had won a lottery jackpot and was urged not to give it away. Erzan admitted to her mistake, attributing her mounting debts to the pressures and blackmail she faced. She stated, “I went along with their demands without objection, fearing repercussions, including bank interference. I acknowledge the gap in my actions, hoping for recovery. I tried to buy time.”
“Differentiating herself from Arda Turan’s assertions, Erzan clarified the sums exchanged between them. She revealed, “Arda Turan handed me a total of 10 million 736 and retrieved 7 million 920, leaving 2 million 816 in receivables. I urge Arda to rectify any inaccuracies.” In response to Fatih Terim’s involvement, Erzan highlighted the constraints on branch managers handling financial transactions. She confessed to operating under substantial debt and feeling pressured to manage repayments. Erzan requested a detailed examination of all account movements up until April 2023, emphasizing the need for clarification on the financial discrepancies.
Reflecting on the mounting challenges, particularly following interactions with Muslera and ongoing financial strains, Erzan disclosed, “I found myself stranded in a dire situation, with money forcibly extracted from my vehicle. Despite the setbacks, Hodja remained cognizant of the financial constraints, contributing substantial sums towards financial recovery.
