Second Hearing in Narin Case: 15 Children and Defendants Face Judge Again
The 2nd hearing in the Narin case took place today, with 3 out of 15 defendants appearing in front of the judge for the second time. The case revolves around the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran in Diyarbakır, where 6 children were detained and the defendants received sentences ranging from 6 months to 5 years.
During the hearing, the defendants claimed that they had made unrealistic statements while search operations were ongoing. It was also revealed that they started a fire in the village in an attempt to influence the investigation. Additionally, the gendarmerie personnel in the region were reported to have monitored and listened to phone records of the defendants.
Today, all 15 defendants appeared in court for the second time, with the children’s hearing being closed to the press due to the sensitive nature of the case. The proceedings continue as more information is gathered to bring justice to the tragic murder of Narin Güran.
