Baykar’s KEMANKEŞ 2 Successfully Completes Ramp Take-off Test
Baykar’s national and unique mini smart cruise missile, KEMANKEŞ 2, has successfully completed its ramp take-off test. The KEMANKEŞ Missile Family draws its name from the archers in Turkish history who were known for hitting targets accurately even under the most challenging conditions.
KEMANKEŞ 2 boasts impressive features, such as the ability to perform autonomous flight with its artificial intelligence-supported autopilot system and neutralize strategic targets with high precision. This mini smart cruise missile can stay in the air for approximately 1 hour and quickly become effective against risky targets behind enemy lines, thanks to its domestic jet engine.
With a mission range of over 200 kilometers, KEMANKEŞ 2 is equipped with an artificial intelligence-supported optical guidance system that can recognize and destroy targets with full accuracy, even in difficult weather conditions. It operates seamlessly in day and night conditions and is unaffected by electronic interference, thanks to its anti-jamming technology. Additionally, KEMANKEŞ 2 provides support to users by transmitting all data and images to the ground control station for effective data tracking.
